Blogs are one of the easiest ways to earn money online.  As long as they are successful and properly promoted.  As of this moment, I am attempting to not only keep up with this blog but also develop a blog in a different niche.  It has been a very interesting time developing the new website because it is far more professional then the current one so it is taking a longer time.  Once I finish it, I will post the link here.

Overview:

Blogs are a very good way to make income on the internet.  They allow for a user to post about a variety of different topics regardless of their views.  There are many ways to monetize a blog from affiliate advertising to programs such as google AdSense.  Regardless of the method used, blogs that have quality content are bound to make money.

My Experience:

For me I have had a very hard time making this particular blog into a success.  Their are a variety of reasons but the most difficult is that no matter how I advertise/link people, my blog looks like a spam site.  This makes people very cautious of clicking onto a link to this blog and I thank you, random internet user, for actually visiting and reading what I have to say.  Anyways, I decided that I would start a new website while maintaining this one for the fun of it.  There are many steps involved before diving head first into a new website.  Check the strategies for success for a good list of what you should do before opening a new website.  On this new website, I will be able to write a ton of content that interests me greatly and even relates to my major.  I used host gator because I found a good coupon from a friend and was able to get a fairly good deal.  There is a coupon code for 25% off web hosting and just click the link to become a referral of mine.  Also another good website like host gator is called name cheap, check both out before deciding on where to buy from.  Once I bought my websites domain and secured web hosting, I began to write content and set it up how I like it.  In a little while I will complete the rest of this article with a link to my other site and the more personal in depth process I took in creating it.

Strategies for Success:

There are many different ways to earn money on a website.  Four of the most important things a website can have are these:

Built up SEO
Niche your interested in with writeable content
Unique Name
Proper form of monetization

These are extremely vast topics that I can cover in other articles if requested but for now I suggest looking them up (on your money making search engine preferably! If you don't know what I'm talking about look here).

Conclusion:

Blogs are one of the simplest ways to earn money on the internet.  With the right kind of motivation, content, and promotion it is simple to earn a good amount of money.  While I cannot comment on my own success in this are because I am just starting out on a new website.  There are many other examples online of people who stay at home blogging because they are successful enough.

swag

Results:
This website was an interesting mix of features that blended together well.  It focuses on the user earning swag bucks through a variety of tasks such as watching videos, taking surveys, playing games, shopping, and searching the web.  I didn't find anything special about the payouts for survey's, shopping, or watching videos but I did find the searching to be the most useful.  The payout rates aren't fantastic but I was able to earn a total of 200 swag bucks = about $2.00 over my first two days by using their search engine.  While I do not recommend using this site for other offers, the search engine feature allows you to earn money on something that often wouldn't pay.  This makes this a great website for monetizing another facet of your everyday web browsing.

Overview:

Swag Bucks is a very well put together PTC website (paid to click) that offers users a variety of different ways to earn money.  They can browse a variety of interesting videos, even music videos to earn swag bucks.  Users are also able to take surveys and play games to earn extra swag bucks.  The site also offers bonuses to users who earn a certain amount of swag bucks in an allotted time frame.  The rewards are mostly paid out in gift cards but they do have Pay Pal gift cards so it translates to cash very easily.  For each swag buck earned, the dollar value is around $0.01.

swag bucks 10000 bill
My Experience:

As I have reviewed before, NeoBux is a viable option for earning $10+ an hour.  This makes me very cautious of wasting my time doing surveys that pay around $2 an hour.  The site however is very well put together and if you enjoy doing surveys, watching videos, and playing games then you can earn some money on this site.  Personally I found the games to be boring and the only way to win money from them is to enter tournaments.  The survey's were long and tedious much like other survey sites and watching videos takes around 5-10 minutes to earn 2-3 SwagBucks.  For the most part though I used SwagBucks and am still using SwagBucks as a search engine.  It's results come up in the form of Google and while they are not identical, it is still a very convenient search engine.    The toolbar is also a helpful add-on so that instead of having to remain on the site, I am able to earn money constantly while I'm browsing the web.

Strategies for Success:

The most important thing about this website, if your going to follow how I use it, is the search function.  In order to get the most out of the search engine, you need to install the toolbar.  For me and many other users the toolbar slows down your browser so I recommend using the plug-in they provide.  It is very simple to do and the directions are at the bottom of the toolbar page.  It is important to note that SwagBucks do not constantly flow in for ever search you make.  They are awarded 20 at a time throughout the day.  The maximum number you can earn in a day is around 4.  This number isn't substantial but $0.80 a day for searching the web results in $24 a month and $288 a year.

SwagBucks also offers bonuses for a certain amount of swagbucks earned in an allotted time.  About twice a day I would actually go to the website to check how close I was to a bonus.  In most cases I would be a few swagbucks off so a quick survey would earn me 5 or so swagbucks and then an additional 10 swagbucks for completing the needed amount.  If a user earns the bonus ever day for a week straight they earn 25 extra, every day for 2 weeks nets 100, 3 weeks is 200, and a month is 300.  After a month the counter resets.  The total bonus for earning the set amount for a full month straight is 625 swag bucks and thats not counting daily bonuses.  If you were to include the average daily bonus of around 10, the total bonus per month is near 1000 swag bucks or $10.00.  You also make around 100 swag bucks to earn the bonus.  In 30 days without bonus you earn 3000 swag bucks.

If you are willing to put in a few extra minutes a day besides using the search engine plug-in then your total profit is $40 per month.  This is a very worthwhile system because Google pays nothing while swag bucks pays $40 a month.  Pretty great in my opinion.

Conclusion:

This site is a very good site for extra income.  It does not have the benefit of giving users a large amount of money but for a very simple part of everyday internet use it provides money where previously their was no money being earned.  I still have this site as my search engine just because I am able to earn money with no effort.

If you don't want to read my experience then my overall opinion on this site is great.  I was able to earn above $10.00 per hour with simple crowd sourcing jobs.  In just three days, with 9 hours of solid typing I was able to earn $108.00 (the strategy for this is explained below: Task B).  This website also allows for this money to be invested into the system which can result in slower but steady returns on investment (the highest of which I saw was over $1200 a month pure profit).  Overall NeoBux is a solid website that delivers on it's promise to users.
NeoBux payout proof

Sidenote:

I made that much money because I am a fast typer, your results may vary.  Don't let this discourage you, even if you type average/below average speed you should make at least $6.00 to $8.00 an hour.  It also important to note that good English and location matter as well.  These mini jobs were available to me in the USA, I am unsure of availability elsewhere.

Overview:

NeoBux is a simple PTC (paid to click) website that has been around for 6 years.  It revolves around the premise of users earning money through viewing advertisements.  Users can also invest money to "rent referrals"who click advertisements, earning money for the original user.  In order for this system to be effective, their must be a large user base.  According to Alexa.com (a web ranking information company) NeoBux is ranked 79th in the world with 3.6 million unique daily visitors.

My Experience:

I joined NeoBux on May 28, 2013.  At first it seemed like a waste of my time because I viewed 30 different ads and had $0.03 in my account, I honestly almost left it as a bust.  I began to read the forums for information on how people were making money.  It intrigued me that someone made $220,000 on a site that I couldn't even manage a nickel.  That's when I discovered the amazing mini-jobs and rented referrals.  The first of that I tried were mini-jobs.  For the most part they are underpaid crowd-sourced tasks which require the user to do an exasperating amount of work for less then a quarter.  Although there are one or two tasks that allow the user to earn over $10.00 an hour which I will get into in Strategies for Success.  The second most interesting part of the website are the rented referrals.  This allows users to rent other users to click ad's for them and earn them money.  The most successful users utilize this system to earn their major money.  After three days of this website I have earned a handsome sum of $108 (most of the $108 was transferred to my Pay Pal on 5/26) which I plan to use to explore other money making options on the internet.

Mini Jobs:  There are two worthwhile NeoBux strategies to apply to mini-jobs that appear on the mini-job section quite often.  Of the 9 hours I spent on the website, there was only a short span of a few minutes where these jobs were unavailable.  In order to find these jobs look for "Good Work pays XX-XX times the base rate"in the task's title.  Normally there are two options up, both require 5 sections to be filled out and each pays $.01 before the bonus.

Task A: Asks you to write questions.  While this is the shorter of the two tasks, it pays a substantial amount less.  In an hour I was able to complete 45 of these tasks (5 questions each) earning me $0.45 before the bonus.  The bonus for this task pays $0.02 for each question written resulting in my final compensation being $4.45

Task B: Asks you to answer other users questions.  This is the longer of the two tasks but it is very worth it.  In an hour I was able to write 15 of these (5 questions each) which results in just $0.45 before the bonus.  This task's bonus pays $0.16 for each question answered resulting in my final compensation for one hour to be $12.45.

On top of these earnings, NeoBux gives a 12% bonus for each dollar earned meaning I earned an extra $1.49 on Task B.  This means I earned nearly $14 an hour! (when focused)
NeoBux Mini Jobs

Rented Referrals:  In my experience, it takes a huge amount of money for users to invest into their accounts to make good money back.  One top user invested over $30,000 of his own money to grow his account to where it was profitable to $1250 a month.  For me it was simply not worth investing my money into rented referrals, although I plan on coming back to this after I have earned more money in order to explore it further.

Closing:
If you are serious about strictly making money in the short run,  mini jobs are where you should be spending your time.  If you have more time and maybe some capital to invest, spend your time at the mini jobs to earn money and then invest them into rented referrals.

If you are having trouble completing 15 tasks in an hour, just ask and I can show you some examples on what I write (nearly every time) that earns me a bonus.

Results:

Slice the pie was a very interesting site to earn money on. In the two hours I worked, I was able to make $14.00. $7.00 an hour is one of the highest pay rates that I've reviewed. Although it does not allow you to work for long periods of time (see overview), this website was still enjoyable because I was able to listen to different artists and discover new kinds of music.

Overview:

Slice the pie is a site that artists use to test out how people respond to their music.  There are many different types of music that are on the site.  Each segment of music runs for 90 seconds, during that time the reviewer is allowed to write comments about the song and at the end of the 90 seconds, they can keep listening or rate it and continue.  This site has nearly no other functions to it beyond the basic work related screen.  This site has been around for many years and claims to have paid out over a million dollars to their workers.

My Experience:

I first signed up for the site and had a ton of difficulty getting it to work.  It's important to note that the site would not work on Firefox but functions perfectly in Chrome.  Once I got it to work the process was fairly simple.  Listen to the song for 90 seconds while writing the review, once it's over give it a rating based on how it sounded and then go onto the next.  The site's base pay is a discouraging $.02 but it goes up with more jobs worked and the bonus for me made the average pay around $0.20.  The music on the site for the most part isn't bad and is entertaining to listen to.  Also when working there is an energy bar, it replenishes as you work and I was able to do about 20-25 jobs before it was empty.  Once it was empty, I just let it replenish and I came back in an hour.  This site only took two days to pay me through Pay Pal and it was actually an enjoyable experience.
slice the pie energy
Strategies for Success:

Their are a few different strategies that can help you achieve full bonuses.  For the most part, even if you don't know to much about music, use all the music related words you can think of.  These words include: rhythm, melody, pitch, beat, artist, voice, flow, lyrics, volume.  When I used more words such as these I would earn a slightly higher payout.

I was able to crank out a fairly high amount of reviews by using a simple strategy.  In the first ten seconds I wouldn't type at all, just listen and decide whether I was going to write positively or negatively (for most songs its easy to tell).  Then I would type for the next eighty seconds, making it as lengthy as I could, in order to fill up the box.  I was sure to use the music related words throughout the review and then the second I was done I would rate it and go on to the next.  Each review would take me about 95 seconds and earn me $0.20.

Conclusion:

While this site does not pay the best money, it is very enjoyable to do.  I was able to find a variety of new artists in the two hours of work that I enjoy listening to.  The only bad part of the site was its barebones approach because it felt odd without and features besides the work area.  In the end it was an enjoyable time working and listening to new music.  If you'd like an example of what I wrote let me know and if you'd like to sign up and help me out at the same time, just click the rank/energy picture above and you will become one of my referral's.

mechanical turk amazon banner
Results:

In the end the Mechanical Turk was one of the most tedious crowd sourcing marketplaces I have worked with.  In the 3 hours I worked on the website, I was able to make $20.00 and that was primarily because I'm able to type fairly fast.  This is a bad place to spend your time earning money, if crowdsourced objectives are how you want to earn your money then NeoBux is a much more reliable option.

Overview:

The Mechanical Turk is an "artificial artificial intelligence" crowd sourcing marketplace.  It is owned by Amazon and normally has more then 100,000 tasks that can be completed.  Workers are allowed to take tests in order to unlock more specialized tasks such as translating a foreign language or writing a professional sounding article.

My Experience:

My experience with the mechanical turk was alright.  At first I tried by doing as many small tasks as I could.  This was a major mistake, even though I could do 50 $.05 tasks in an hour I was still earning nearly nothing.  Then I tried to just wait for the higher paying jobs that took a little bit longer.  I was able to find a few of them after refreshing and even some surveys that also paid well.  After what felt like quite a long time working for this site, I was eventually able to cash out.  It is a very handy service because the money that I cashed out was transferred to my Amazon account and I was able to make a purchase right away.

Strategies for Success:

Without a doubt, do not go for any task that is less then $.25 because it will not add up to much.  Refresh the page often as it will yield higher paying results.  When you find a high paying result, be fast about accepting it because they will go very quickly.  Do not expect to make a ton of money from this service but rather look at it as a time filler if anything.

Conclusion:

The Mechanical Turk is a very interesting concept because there are so many different taks available.  It does not pay even close to what is worth the time spent though so I would recommend avoiding this service.  Sites like NeoBux or Slice the Pie not only pay more but they also are much more enjoyable to use.  The one reason to use this site is if you do not have a Pay Pal account, the money earned from the Mechanical Turk can be used to purchase things from Amazon.

For the most part this website was just an interest for me as a way to develop a website and understand how it works.  Through this website I found a very interesting subject that has allowed me to make money online in a much more stable fashion.   I don't want to give away all the details but they can be found at this blog on cryptography:http://historyofcodes.com

bitcoin banner

Results:

BitCoin is by far the most unfamiliar topic for me.  Before I got into this topic I though that Bitcoins made Bitcoin coins.  It has taken a ton of work to understand and get involved in the system.  With this being said, it is also the most exciting and new system that I had taken apart of.  I was able to accomplish other tasks while my computer was mining BitCoins, so it was not as tedious it first seemed.  In the end I racked up a whole .05 BitCoins with around 5 hours of mining which results in $6.50 profit.  This is an interesting way to earn money because it does not require your attention, just your computers processing power.

Sidenote:

I ran the program on a laptop so your results may vary depending on the capabilities the computer that is used.  Also depending on the pool that is joined, results may vary.

Overview:

Bitcoins.  What exactly are they?  Bitcoins are a cryptocurrency that was developed by an anonymous developer.  Each Bitcoin is accounted for in transaction logs and cannot be counterfeited.  Each coin can be broken down into .00000001 parts of a whole coin and be traded up to that small amount.  Every so often there is an update which releases encrypted Bitcoins.  Mining is using the computing power of many people to each solve smaller parts of a code in order to earn a chunk of Bitcoins, normally 25 or 50.  There will be a total of 21 million Bitcoins in circulation when the updates stops producing them in 2140.  Today Bitcoins are accepted by thousands of vendors on the internet and have reached a value of $130.  Earlier this year, the market spiked to over $200 as the Bitcoin bubble came to a peak.

bitcoin market trend graphMy experience:

I began mining Bitcoins  and I learned a ton during the process.  First of all, it is impossible to do without joining a pool.  A pool is a group of people who share computing power in order to mine Bitcoins.  There are a ton of different types pools and clients that allow you to get involved but I'm not here to review the specific types of pools.  Before mining bit coins, make a smart decision about which pool to join based on your computer and likely payouts.  Also it is important to download a "wallet" to store your coins, they're are a ton of guides on the internet for it and a list of good wallets is available at bitcoin.org. Back to the mining, so I downloaded a mining program and scanned it only to find a virus.  Awesome start, no need to worry though this website has since be shutdown.  I was recommended another program on a forum and it had no virus so I got to mining.  There's really not much else to it.  Get a wallet, download a miner, mine.  Once we had solved a block, I was given my share of Bitcoins based on how many hours I had logged in the miner.

Strategies for Success:

It cannot be stressed how important it is to pick a good pool based on your computing power and dedication.  Some pools cater themselves better to casual miners while others would give a casual miner close to nothing.

It is important to realize the potential success of Bitcoins.  They cannot be copied, there is a set number, and they are a desirable commodity.  Since the bubble has already popped, I would advise you not to sell your Bitcoins once you mine them.  Personally I'm going to hang on to my .05 Bitcoins until the bitter end.

Be wary of people attempting to steal your bitcoins.  If people are willing to do this for some Bitcoins, you can bet they are scamming to rip yours off as well.  Always scan for viruses in content downloaded online and if it sounds too good to be true, it most likely is.

Computer speeds matter to a certain extent.  While most forums advise people to upgrade their hardware in order to earn more Bitcoins, I don't think that's advisable with the current state of Bitcoins.

bitcoin mining rig

Closing

While this was undoubtedly not the most profitable venture for me, it was an interesting one to say the least.  It is important to be wary of how your earning Bitcoins and what payout strategies your pool is using.  Personally I think this is a nice way to make money because you are free to do other things while the mining program is running.  With that said I most likely won't be running the mining program unless I'm away from my computer simply because it is a ton of processing power.  In the end, Bitcoins are an average opportunity at best for the average user.

kgb answers banner

Review:

At this point in time my review for KGB answers is incomplete.  I am awaiting confirmation from them about the job and then I will begin to work there.  I have been informed that their are no more US agents as KGB is preferring to hire workers from the Philippines.  However, my application went through and I am hopeful they will allow me to test their service.

Overview:

KGB is a privately held "independent provider of directory assistance and enhanced information services."  They charge $1.49 for a question to be answered via text message.  In February 2013 KGB was mandated by a judge to pay $1.3 million to underpaid agents in the United States.  This caused for no more US agents to be hired after April 5 2013.  The way the service works is a text message question is sent into a database.  It is either keyword matched and answered by a database, then verified by an agent or an agent writes the entire answer by themselves.

My Experience:

In order to even be considered to be hired as a KGB agent you must prove you can research things quickly.  They have a test set up with categories that interest you and allow you to search the web in  order to find the answers.  With two windows open the quiz took about 10 minutes and I received around a 90%.  I was then told they would contact me in 5 days with instructions.

Conclusion:

INCOMPLETE - Until I experience the work I cannot speak on the money making possibility

binary options banner

So for a while now I have heard about binary options and how great of an investment they are.  I decided that they would be the next internet money making option I would try.  There are many websites that offer different rates and minimal deposit amounts.  I tried iOption because of the low minimum deposit of $100.  (I just used the money I had earned from NeoBux)

Results:

Plain and simple, this was an extremely difficult way to make good money.  For me it felt a ton more like gambling then investing.  Actually less then gambling, it was essentially throwing money on red or black on a roulette table.  I do not recommend this system even though I came out on top by $50.  I'll explain how I did that in strategies.

Overview:

What are options?  Binary Options are a type of trading option that allow you to bet simply whether the price of the given commodity or stock is going to go up (call) or down (put).  While it can be more complicated then that, it simplifies the explanation to just focus on placing a "put or a call" bet.  On each trading website, there are many different charts given to the user and unless you are a professional broker, it feels completely useless.

binary

My Experience:

I started out on iOptions with $100 and a complete loss at what to do.  I tried a few $10 trade, I lost two and won two.  This ended up with me losing money, I looked up the statistics for this and I have to win nearly 70% of all the trades I do in order to turn a profit.  I almost withdrew my money immediately because I knew I didn't have that kind of luck.  So I began to research ways in which to predict the market, everything pointed me to not investing in binary options.  After a ton of researching I found a website that would let you watch a professional trade options for a price.  At this point I was willing to do whatever I could to get my money back and withdraw.  So I opened up http://www.binaryoptions-live-signals.com/ and started the three day free trial.  Of the trades that I witnessed I copied the exact same thing and end up winning 4 out of the 5 trades I did, on the 6th trade I bet big and won some extra cash.  This resulted in being up $50 on the day.  I withdrew the money and quit the website because I am not one for such volatile investments.

Strategy for Success:

Set a limit for yourself.  Do not go into it with a link bank account thinking your going to be able to replenish your losses.  This is a bad idea, start out by writing a dollar amount you will be investing and do not go a cent beyond that.

Don't be afraid to watch other people's trading habits and copy them.  If your reading this then chances are you have little knowledge about options, follow a professional trader.

If you are ever uncomfortable with the trading system or the site you are investing in.  Leave.  There is no shame in keeping your money to yourself.

Conclusion:

For the time spent on iOptions, it was the second most profitable for me.  With that said, it was also the riskiest money I have earned online and I would not look forward to doing it again.  If you have nerves of steel and are willing to take risks with your money then using a professional trade for binary options may be a very profitable path for many.

google sniper banner

Review:

If you don't feel like reading my experience with this product, I will let you know now it was not good. The system promises results with minimal work but what I found was quite the opposite.  For a recurring fee of nearly $50 a month I was getting a unorganized system with out dated tactics.  In many videos, the creator George Brown seems unprepared and stumbles through his words.  For the most part the google updates Panda and Penguin changed the algorithm for search engine optimization making the system close to useless.  Although some tactics do work, Google Sniper is not worth the $600 a year that it charges.

Sidenote:

Although I did pay the price for the Google Sniper system, I was able to get my money back.  Thankfully the person I contacted was fully understanding of the situation and gave me a full refund.

Overview:

Google Sniper 2.0 is a product designed by George Brown in order to optimize websites in search engines.  This optimization drives more traffic to the website which allows the site to refer visitors to other sites, earning commission for the website.  It was first released in October 2009, however I cannot comment on the effectiveness of the system in the past.  Profits like the one shown below are boasted on nearly every review.

Personal experience

At first I saw so many positive reviews for Google Sniper 2.0 I couldn't wait to get my hands on the system, I mean after all why not follow the crowd?  I took the money I had scraped up from NeoBux and Binary Options and went straight to the website and purchased the system.  Immediately I was greeted by multiple tabs, videos, manuals, and all kinds of information I had never seen before.  It took a good couple hours to get a grasp on all the information the site was providing and start to make my plan.  I found my niche in Pest Control websites as a friend had pointed out to me there was a demand for them.  I began to go through the SEO optimization, back linking, and all kinds of tactics that were described in the guide.  It took me a few more hours to set up my website and I sat back feeling rather accomplished.  The first two days I received literally no results and 17 visitors which were almost entirely from my own views so naturally I went to investigate.  It turns out that some of the tips given in the guide get your websites blocked from the google search engine so there was nothing driving traffic to my website.

I was upset at first because there were so many people experiencing great results with the system.  How could it be bad for me?  For the most part, the reviews are outdated and irrelevant and as I said before I cannot speak for the success the system would've had in the past.  Most of the positive reviews though say the exact same thing, basically thesaurusized versions of each other.  This leads to a ton of hype about a system because of its amazing results when there are a lot less satisfied customers then it seems.

Strategy for Success:

-First of all, don't waste your money on the guide.  The information it offers is readily available on the internet with the right searching.  That being said, if you do happen to buy the guide then spend your time learning the strategies it presents because they are helpful.  I definitely will be using the some of the things I learned in other sites that I create, possibly even this one.

Conclusion:

Don't get me wrong, this system isn't completely bogus.  It has some positive tips and with modification if could result in a steady income flow.  I bought the system expecting the results advertised and was completely disappointed.  It did not have anywhere close to the results that it promised.  I personally believe their are better systems out there for a cheaper price.  If it was truly possible to make $2,000 a day then why would you need to advertise it?

Or even sell the system?

Google's stance:

You may have seen offers like these using Google's name or logo that sounded too good to be true. Unfortunately, nearly all of them are, and, despite hundreds of consumer complaints and our own efforts to keep these sites from tricking people, some scams continue...We can solve only part of the problem — the rest is up to you. Just as you should be careful about giving out financial information in the real world, you should be skeptical and review any offers online before sending any information, and always be on guard when presented with an offer that seems too good to be true.

health survey site banner
Review:

I was referred to this survey site by a friend of mine that is into survey sites.  I should have known from the flashy advertising the website wasn't worth the time.  After multiple surveys, a mobile app download, and 4 hours wasted I had earned 486 points or $4.86.  This website is a waste of time for anyone serious about making money online although it could have it's benefits if a user has a chunk of free time to fill.

Sidenote:

I have had similar experiences at a variety of different survey websites but that isn't to say that all survey based websites are as useless.

 Overview:

Points 2 Shop is a survey site that offers users the chance to earn points in order to buy rewards.  With 4.1 million users, the site has strong base from which they earn their advertising money on.  The premise of the site is that users will watch videos, play games, download apps and take surveys in order to earn points.

My Experience:

I joined this site in the hopes that I would be able to make a couple dollars from some simple surveys.  When you first login, talk to the guide.  They are a real person that is paid to help you, it makes the entire site much easier to use.   While I didn't stick around long enough to get a high enough level to play games, I can talk about the rest of the site.  The survey section of the site was quite frustrating to me.  Often I would fill out a pre-requisite form for a survey for 5-10 minutes only to be denied the opportunity of making 30 points or $0.30.  Once a survey did accept me, it took me 25 minutes to fill out and I was rewarded with 50 points a day later.  The video section offers 1-2 points per video watched which is very low and the apps weren't very promising either.  While the tasks section does resemble the high pay-out ability of NeoBux, it lacked the worthwhile jobs each time I checked.

Strategy for Success:

If you have a smart phone, download the application for points2shop.  This allows you to watch videos on your phone while you are taking surveys on the website earning double the money.

Conclusion:

This survey site is an enjoyable website to look at and navigate through but it serves very little purpose to earning money.  Not only does it rarely allow users to take surveys but it also has a delayed payment.  When I finally was able to cash out my $4.87 for a prize, I was charged an obscene amount for shipping and handling so I gave up on the website.  In the end, this website is not worth the time spent.

As of May 2013, I have decided that I'm going to attempt to make money online in a variety of different ways.  Through each method, I will be blogging about how each site works along with their pro's and con's.  I will never attempt to sell anything on this website and I promise I'm going to only offer my opinions and experiences with the websites.

Before I start reviewing websites, I want to just let you know what kind of person I am.  Currently I'm a college student in California studying Mechanical Engineering at a private university.  Being an engineer, I often find shortcuts or exploitations that allow me to bypass lengthier processes.  Hopefully this will help in my search to make money online.  I think anything beyond this information doesn't need to be shared because this website is not about me.

My hope for this blog is to not only earn some money but to help others do the same.  I'll always try to be available to help people with any questions they may have about my strategies.  Thanks for reading and I hope that you continue to follow my journey through a maze of online opportunities.
